Soothing Digestive Tea

Since we talked about Marshmallow yesterday, today I’m sharing a delicious recipe for a soothing digestive tea featuring our herb of the week. This tea is highly supportive of the digestive system, helping to encourage digestion and assimilation while also relieving discomfort and bloating. At the same time, several of these herbs have an affinity for the nervous system, promoting calm, relaxation, and easing tension. This blend is highly nutritious, full of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that help to relieve inflammation in the body.

The Recipe

4 T Tulsi

4 T Nettles

3 T Fennel

4 T Chamomile

6 T Marshmallow

Raw Local Honey

1. Add all your herbs into a heatproof mason jar or teapot.

2. Carefully pour over just boiling or very hot water.

3. Stir all the ingredients around and add honey if you’d like.

4. Let it sit for roughly 20 minutes before straining and enjoying!
